The Weekend Refresher: 10/16 – 10/22
Well, my friends, I would have had this refresher for you earlier in this day, but my loving husband o’ the year surprised me by letting me sleep in an extra hour, then by bringing me coffee in bed, all the while baking blueberry muffins until he told me I could come downstairs. Wow! Yes, I’m certain I did a little bragging there. Sorry. But it was quite wonderful! After asking him why he decided to be so marvelous, he simply grinned and told me that he could tell I needed it because of the things I was saying and my overall demeanor when I first realized that I would need to get up soon. (It wasn’t a picture perfect night of sleep).
So, here I am, more rested than I would have been if it hadn’t been for Chris’s loving gesture, but still with a hearty yawn here and there. I do announce quite a lot that I am tired my whole life. To which he corrects me, reminding me that I haven’t, in fact, been tired my whole life, just this part of my life. What might I ever do without him to set me straight?
Moving on. This was quite a week of celebrating! From Logan’s lunch with the principal to Eli’s third birthday! No wonder I’m tired. In case you missed any of it, I bring you The Weekend Refresher! Please enjoy:
