Reality Sunday

Two new shows premiered last night. On CBS we had The Amazing Race and on NBC there was The Celebrity Apprentice. Did you happen to catch either one of them? Do you care about either one of them?

I care more about The Amazing Race for three reasons. 1. Logan likes to watch it with us and that is really fun because he is old enough to get into it and pick the teams that he is rooting for. 2. Phil Keoghan 3. A few seasons back the contestants participated in a leg of the race that went through the city of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania where I visited six years ago!

I think for this season (20!) I am rooting for the twins and the police girls:

Elliot and Andrew

Nary and Jaime

Even though I admit that The Celebrity Apprentice is often a guilty pleasure (see season 3 with Bret Michaels), I tried (with great success) not to watch it last season because they are CRAZY! And, Donald Trump is … well, whatever, I don’t know. But I sure do love his daughter, Ivanka. She is a classy, beautiful and strong woman. And, I think her head is on straight.

I am intrigued by his cast this season. I think the Gotti daughter is creeptastic, but the rest of them are quite decent if you ask me…minus Aubrey O’Day, this pop star that I’ve never heard of. I’m waiting for Paul Sr.’s temper to explode, followed by a series of *bleeps* – so much so that we might loose track of what’s happening in the program! Believe it or not, I am most excited about seeing Dee Snider succeed this season not only because he’s competing for the March of Dimes, but because I happen to believe he’s a stand up guy.

All this is to present you with this week’s poll question. Which premier did you watch, if any? AND, if you have more to say about either of these premiers, please do so in the comment section. Who are you rooting for? Who do you think is creeptastic or obnoxious? I’d love to see what you think! Have fun! 🙂
