Topic: Drink
Lemonade
My boys and I were fortunate enough to get to spend the afternoon today at our friend’s house who live out in the country around 25 minutes from here. These aren’t just any friends who live out in the country…they are the ones who, up until last fall, were our dearest next door neighbor-friends since 9 years ago.
It was perfect for the day’s photo to be drink since my lovely friend made refreshing lemonade and chocolate chip cookies to snack on. The photo is of her hand, my hand and then her 13-year-old daughter’s hand holding the glasses.
If you were interested in finding out just how amazing these friends are to us and how their move impacted our lives greatly, you can take a little peek here at the post that I wrote the weekend that they moved.
So, as dear as ever they are to us still, we traveled out to visit them. We met their new puppies, ogled at the beautiful decorating sense that my friend has and let her boy and my two run around outside playing hide-n’-seek, capture the flag, looking for bugs and building fortresses out of unused brick and wood. Is there a better way for three young boys to spend a summer afternoon? I doubt it!! See for yourself!

Oh! And these are their two new puppies…

So, you see, I will travel out there any day to get caught up, play, visit, ogle, reminisce and share a drink! 🙂 Love you, friends!
Love you back…can’t wait to get together again soon!
