Starting this afternoon, my home is going to become host to an activity that it has not seen yet in its nine-year existence. It will play a roll as acting brewery to my husband and two of his friends. The name of which is Dutch Jew Brew. Dutch for my husband’s heritage and Jew for Ephram’s heritage. Catchy eh? The supplies for this project arrived in droves to our front steps recently and the boys had a similar experience to that of Christmas morning, upon opening them.
Beer Brewing Kit = Three hoppy guys! (Yikes! I couldn’t resist…)
Chris was so excited he needed a moment of reflection! (Thank you, I’ll be here all week!)
Lot’s of shiny supplies!
Boys and their toys…
One way to celebrate a happy occasion is by making music!
Pretty isn’t it? I don’t know what it is yet.
These are the hops…
It just warms my heart when he’s so hoppy! (Ha! You see what I did there? I did it again. I can’t help myself!)
A lot of supplies. This project could take more than 30 minutes!
Honestly, I’m glad I’m the spectator. I’d be afraid of making a mistake. But all kidding aside, these guys have been doing their research and have a good handle on what’s going on. Maybe they’l let me be creative consultant!
These are the preliminaries. Stay tuned and maybe by then I’ll have become a little more educated and we’ll actually have some fermenting going on in the basement!
Cheers!
Sounds good invite us over for a taste test 🙂
