My sweet friend, Michelle, happened to be at the Colorado Springs Balloon Classic last Monday morning with her family at the same time that I was there with my family. This is bound to happen in a city of…um…how many are in this place? Hold on, I’ll go look. Well, as of April 2010, there’s a staggering 416,427 folks living in this here city.
As I was saying, in a city of 416,427, its bound to happen that my friend would be at the same public event as I and we wouldn’t come close to running into each other. The thing of it is, though, is that I learned something from her about the Balloon Classic that I did not know before, and that is about how many of the balloons often touch down over Prospect Lake. I don’t know where said lake is, even! I am eternally grateful for her sharing this little known tip with me. Now I can enhance our own Balloon Classic experience in the years to come. She even shared her photographs from the event with me. And I thought I enjoyed looking at mine! Great job, my friend! Thanks again for sharing!
