Topic: On your plate

As you might recall, the last time I ate this dish was about a year ago…well, not quite. But I wrote about it in a funny little piece called Confessions of a Pig Hater and I attached a nice link there for your convenience. You might just want to take a moment and check it out because it explains a lot about my love/hate relationship with pig…er…pork!
I called this post our once-a-year rib dinner because that’s about as many times as we eat it. Chris might have it more, I would, too for that matter…but for whatever reason, it only makes it onto his grill once a year.
Perhaps that will be remedied…it was so delicious, actually. Even I can appreciate good ribs, but I’m still learning. Perhaps I should have taken a picture of the difference between my finished bones and Chris’s. He looks at me with disgust when I place my “finished” one down.
“Uh…there is so much meat left on there…” He says all snarky-like with a side of attitude.
“Take it easy,” I plead in response. “I’m still new at this!”
