Super Bowl XLVI: Who Are You Rooting For?
Well football fans, it has come down to this. Last night’s game results pin The New York Giants against the New England Patriots in this year’s Super Bowl XLVI. I think we could call it a lot of things…Manning vs. Brady…NY vs. NE…Giants vs. Patriots…Not Green Bay vs. Not Denver…
Whatever you choose to call it when you make reference to the big game at 4:20 on Sunday, February 5, it’s sure to be exciting-well, lets hope so! But, I want to know who you’re rooting for! And, don’t say you don’t care, because that’s just not fun! (If I’m being honest.) If neither of the two teams especially makes your pulse run a little faster, then I suggest closing your eyes and picking one! I think I speak for all four of us living under this roof right here when I say that we will be rooting for the Giants because they beat the Packers a week ago and if they are that good to beat the Packers, than they aught to be that good to win the Super Bowl. There, I said it. Whose with me? Or not…(It’s cool, we can still be friends).

I am SO excited for this superbowl. I think Tom Brady is going big this year! A lot of jokes comes his way but I disagree with the haters. He’s an amazing quarterback. Even the name “Tom Brady” screams quarterback haha. The only QB with a better name is Colt McCoy. Anyways, This is going to be a really great game and I am pumped for the rematch. Good post. 🙂
Jen, I hate to say it, but I really don’t care. I don’t want to sound callous because I know a lot of people enjoy watching football, but it doesn’t matter to me who wins. I probably won’t be watching it either. However, I wanted to leave you a comment after the very nice blog love you left me. It is frustrating not receiving comments or feedback. I saw your post title at Shan’s family brings joy blog and had to come visit you. It’s rare that I see a football related post around here so…YAY!!!!!! I’m a football addict (the only one in my house) and a diehard N.O. Saints fan. I will be pulling for the Giants in the Superbowl for 2 reasons: 1. same as you, they beat Green Bay and 2. I’m not a fan of ‘Brady’s Bunch’ and their coach. I love Eli Manning and hope he beats Brady (again).
